About us

Mark joined L&O in 1995 and is responsible for property sourcing, acquisition, asset management, together with development management of commercial and residential property through comprehensive refurbishment and redevelopment strategies. Mark has over 36 years experience in the central London property market.

Mark sits on the Boards of the Victoria, Westminster and Eastern City Business Improvement Districts and works closely with both the Corporation of London and Westminster City Council, in particular.

Loris joined L&O in 2014 and is responsible for portfolio management, ongoing investment and development projects and the analysis of new potential acquisitions. Loris was made an equity partner in 2020 and has 14 years’ experience in the industry.

In terms of qualifications, Loris holds a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Land Management from the University of Reading and was awarded the Henley Business School & SEGRO prize for coming top of the year in his final year degree pathway.

Jas joined L&O in 2022 and is responsible for development management, asset management and new acquisitions. She previously spent 6 years at Grosvenor managing a variety of mixed-use development and asset management projects.

During her time at Grosvenor, Jas managed several sustainability focused projects with biodiversity, well-being and carbon minimisation at their core.

Martin began working with L&O in 2022 and provides accounting services to our clients.

Martin qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC and led financial control functions for Goldman Sachs and other leading investment banks before holding Finance Director positions in the education, charity, and property letting sectors. He has over 35 years of experience in Finance.

David was a Founder Partner of L&O with Mark Cannell and is now a Consultant to the LLP. David brings almost 50 years of direct property experience across all sectors and specialises in the acquisition, development and strategic asset management of commercial real estate throughout the UK.

David was an Equity Partner of Jones Lang Wotton Asia Pacific for 15 years and has an extensive knowledge of the Hong Kong real estate market.

Gayle joined L&O in 2019 and is responsible for the day to day accounting as well as assisting Martin with providing accounting services to our clients.

Gayle qualified with an AAT Level 4 Diploma in 2010 and is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. She has worked with a number of companies of varying sizes and these days has a furry assistant in the name of Bert the dog.
